Lifecell Roaming Data Packages – How to Activate and Pricing

For the first 56 days after SIM card activation, internet roaming works only under basic tariffs (in most countries) or via the "Additional Roaming" service (available in 34 countries).
What is the "Additional Roaming" service? With this service, you can activate one of the following internet packages: ✔ 5 GB for 7 days – 150 UAH ✔ 15 GB for 14 days – 250 UAH ✔ 40 GB for 21 days – 550 UAH

How to Activate the "Additional Roaming" Service on Lifecell?

If your Lifecell SIM card has detected a network, follow these 3 steps to activate the service:
1. Activate a tariff using a USSD code
We recommend activating the cheapest tariff, "Gadget Security" – 135 UAH for 12 weeks. This tariff does not provide internet roaming, but the "Additional Roaming" service will not work without it.To activate, enter the USSD code *510# on your phone’s dial pad, press the call button, then select 1 and confirm by pressing 1 again.
2. Top-up your account
⚠ Before topping up:Turn off mobile data in your phone settings (Wi-Fi can stay on).Switch your network mode to 2G.After activation and GB allocation, you can turn mobile data back on and switch to 4G or 5G.Why is this important?❗ If you don’t disable mobile data and switch to 2G, your phone may automatically connect to the internet at standard roaming rates, deducting your balance and preventing roaming package activation.
Top up your account with an amount sufficient to cover both the tariff fee (135 UAH) and your chosen roaming package (150 UAH, 250 UAH, or 550 UAH).
3. Order the "Additional Roaming" service
To activate, enter the USSD code *108*2# on your phone, press the call button, select the GB amount (1, 2, or 3), and confirm by pressing 1.
After activation, you will receive an SMS confirmation with the allocated GB.To check your remaining GB, re-enter the USSD code *108*2#.
ℹ You can order this service multiple times.

Better Tariffs After 56 Days of SIM Activation

After 56 days of SIM activation, you can switch to tariffs with better conditions:✅ Maxi – 20 GB for 300 UAH (28 days) ✅ Smart Family L – 50 GB for 600 UAH (28 days)These tariffs include roaming data, so you won’t need the "Additional Roaming" service anymore.
‼ Do not rush to activate these tariffs!If your SIM has not been active for 56 days, the Maxi and Smart Family L tariffs (and others) will not work in roaming, and any deposited funds will not be refunded. During the first 56 days, roaming only works with the "Additional Roaming" service.
To check your SIM activation date, enter the USSD code *161#, then press 2.---Required Condition for Roaming with Maxi and Smart Family L
These tariffs will work in roaming only after two tariff payments since SIM activation.
➡ If your first tariff has already been paid (e.g., "Gadget Security" for 135 UAH or another), then after activating and paying for a second tariff (Maxi, Smart Family L, or another), promotional roaming data will be available.➡ If you bought your SIM card from us on Allegro or OLX with the condition that we activated it over 56 days ago, you only need to activate and pay for the Maxi or Smart Family L tariff – the first tariff has already been paid.➡ If your SIM card was activated over 56 days ago, but no tariff was previously connected, you must first activate and pay for one tariff (e.g., "Gadget Security") before switching to Maxi or Smart Family L.---⚠ Before topping up your account, similar to activating the "Additional Roaming" service:Turn off mobile data (Wi-Fi can remain on).Switch the network mode to 2G.After tariff activation and GB allocation, re-enable mobile data and switch to 4G or 5G.❗ If you don’t disable data and switch to 2G, your phone may connect to the internet at standard rates, deducting your balance and blocking tariff activation.

How to Activate Lifecell Tariffs?

✅ Maxi Tariff – 20 GB for 300 UAH (28 days) 🔹 Dial *707#, select 1, and confirm by pressing 1 again. 🔹 Top up your SIM with 300 UAH.
✅ Smart Family L Tariff – 50 GB for 600 UAH (28 days) 🔹 Dial *253#, select 3, then confirm by pressing 1. 🔹 Top up your SIM with 600 UAH.
Alternative Tariffs
Since February 19, 2025, Lifecell has updated the conditions of popular tariffs Gadget Tablet and Gadget Router – they are less advantageous but still available:📌 Gadget Tablet – 25 GB for 400 UAH (*510# → 3 → 1)📌 Gadget Router – 30 GB for 550 UAH (*510# → 4 → 1)
